Update

The boys have been playing with the train tracks every day lately.
Amelia's first day of kindergarten, August 1, 2013.  She was so excited and hardly looked back to say goodbye.  She has been doing really well and loves going to school.  She loves to check out a book on library day and she loves doing her homework.
 David's 2nd birthday, August 3, 2013.
 He got more legos.
Cooling off in the hot summer sun.
Amelia's first loose tooth, it took about 2 weeks until we pulled it out.
RE and I have some silly time now when Amelia is at school and Davy's napping.
 Ready for church.
My little daredevil.  I don't think I'll ever get used to it.
I wrapped a piece of dental floss around the base of the tooth and pulled the ends apart.  It took a few times because the floss kept slipping off.  Amelia was crying because she wanted the tooth OUT!  Finally it popped out.  She was so excited!
This girl is reading so well.
Sometimes you just need a little mud to cool you off.

October 2012

RE is one of those "I have to be touching someone at all times" kids, most of the time I love it.
 Time for pumpkin carving.

We may not eat a lot of vegetables, be we keep the fruit farmers in business.
 Amelia loves to take pictures.

Before our ward party.  Amelia was little red riding hood, RE was a knight and Davy was a chicken.

Ricky took Amelia and RE out trick or treating and I stayed home with David to answer the door.  Amelia was a lady bug and RE was a monkey, again.  Amelia was pretty upset that she didn't get to hand out candy.
Post Halloween hair!

Puerto Rico

We had a great trip to Puerto Rico August 27-Sept 13.  Wish we could have stayed longer.

I was nervous for our long flights and drive, but everything went smoothly.  Davy slept almost the entire time.  RE and Amelia loved the big airplanes.
We spent a lot of time at the different beaches around Isabela.
The kids had a fun with Abuelo and Abuela.
We also did a lot of playing in the sand.

There are some nice beaches that have kind of enclosed, shallow pools.  They are safer for the kids, no undertow.
We went to the water park in Quebradillas twice.  We went in the morning, so the first day we had the park all to ourselves.  The second time we went, there was a few other people.  So it was nice not having to fight the crowds.
RE con Abuelo.
This was the day we were leaving.
More beach fun.
In Aguadilla at Parque Colon.  They have a huge tree with a treee house you can walk around.  Can't remember how old the tree is.
Dominoes with Abuelo.

Cousins:  Ricky's brother's two boys, Adrianne and Eliazar.
Here's the pirate ship from the splash park.
The last few days of our trip, we headed to the east side of the island.  We hiked in the El Yunque Rainforest to a waterfall.

The water was cold, so we didn't venture over to the waterfall, but it was fun to wade around.
Getting ready to leave, so sad.

Shelly and Wendy came with their families the last few days and we stayed in a resort in Loiza.
Cousins: Ryan, Graham, Sawyer, and Maeve.

We had a blast and can't wait to go back!

Splash park with friends.

Davy didn't really like the splashing, but he liked the snacks.
We sold the truck in less than 24 hours.  Thank you craigslist!
 Cooling off.

 Early morning at the park.

Davy had his one year check up, almost 21 pounds.
 Babysitting exchange.
 Aran~itas.
 Frappes.

 First day of preschool.
 Silly Papi.

RE got a haircut finally.
