July 30-Aug 5 2012

Amelia is really growing up!
She loves all the dresses that people send her.  Nana gave her this one for Christmas and it finally fits.  RE was calling it the "sprinkly" dress.  I think he meant sparkly because it has little reflector type things all over it.
"Helping" Papi clean out the minivan.
David sleeps in Amelia's room right now and sometimes if he's asleep I won't let her go get her pajamas because she ALWAYS wakes him up.  She refuses to wear a tshirt or anything that is nor "real" pajamas.  So I told her to go get some of RE's and this is what she came back with.
 The girls ready for church.
RE likes to brush his teeth and is finally getting the spitting down.  Our only problem is that he wants to brush his teeth 10 times a day.
 My handsome boy.
 Happy 1st birthday Davy!
What is going on?  He was very unsure about this.
But after he got started, he ate every crumb!  What a big boy!
With his presents: phone from the Chipman family, airplane and shoes from our family.
Amelia learned to swim on her own this week.  Ricky was so patient with her in the pool while I wrestled with the boys.  When she got comfortable with the mask, she just sat on the lowest step with her head under the water looking around.
Then she just took off!  We are so excited because now she'll be able to snorkel in PR!
We had a big storm 2 Sundays ago.  I was in the kitchen making dinner and there was constant thunder and lightning.  I was right by the window and the lightning hit REALLY close and I jumped out of the kitchen.  Ricky was laughing at me, but I was scared.  I recovered and we ate dinner.  Amelia was the last one at the table and she said she saw a fire truck go by.  We didn't think much of it, but the next day we found out that the house across the street and one down had a tree hit by that lightning and caught on fire!  That was really close.
